Bridging the gap between design vision and construction execution for refined, stress-free renovations.

We do two things exceptionally well:

We renovate and develop homes for resale with a refined aesthetic and construction foresight — and we partner with private clients to act as their liaison between design vision and build execution. From floor plans to molding profiles and tile layouts, we take the hundreds of finish decisions off your plate and manage them with intention and clarity. Whether we own the project or guide it behind the scenes, we’re here to simplify, refine, and elevate the experience.

  • Hingham Historic Refresh

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL FACELIFT FOR 1737 HOME

This forgotten beauty had been overlooked for years and now stands out on Lincoln Street in Hingham. We brought it back to life while honoring its charm.

  • Hingham New Construction

    BUILT TO LOOK HISTORIC

One of our favorite projects to date, this home was designed and built to look and feel like it was built in the late 1800s. From floor boards to built in details, no aspect was overlooked.

  • Hingham Renovation

ADDING ADDITIONS ON A TRIANGLE LOT

Hingham certainly has its nuances and restrictions. With this home we worked with our constraints to make it everything it could be.

“Before finding The Kerr Collective, we had completed a full set of architectural plans—only to realize the construction costs were significantly beyond what we had anticipated. Chris and Meredith stepped in with thoughtful, design-build insight that helped us evaluate what mattered most and value-engineer the original scope. From there, we worked together with the architect under their pre-construction guidance to arrive at a refined, achievable plan. Involving The Kerr Collective saved considerable time, money and stress”

FAQs

  • We’re not here to replace your architect — we’re here to make their job easier, and your outcome better.
We help clarify your goals, priorities, and constraints before full plans are developed, so your architect starts with a clear brief — and you avoid costly redesigns or over-engineering.
We also stay involved during the build to make sure design intent meets real-world execution.

  • Interior designers are focused on the look. Builders are focused on the structure.
We’re focused on the process — how everything works together from concept to execution.

We help you make smart layout decisions, value-engineer spaces, and select materials that balance aesthetics with buildability.
We’re not trying to sell you a style or a full-service build. We’re here to make sure what you want is actually doable, and done well.

  • If you’re asking, “Should we buy this house?” or “Can we actually afford to build this?” — it’s time.
We work best when brought in before construction starts or large decisions are locked in.

That said, we’ve helped clients mid-project too — evaluating quotes, reworking scope, or troubleshooting chaos. The earlier you bring us in, the more options (and money) we can help you preserve.
